RE: GBARC Net log July 13 2022 - VE3WI Dave - 2022-07-14 Not making it to the list was "recruit some candidates and run a Basic course", mentioned by yours truly and others. New hams and new members are the life blood of the club IMHO. 73 Dave, VE3WI RE: GBARC Net log July 13 2022 - VA3KOT John - 2022-07-17 "Making the tech talk a part of every club meeting agenda" requires people to volunteer to give the talks. We tried this but not enough people came forward, so scratch this idea. TechTalks will continue, but only when we have presenters available. "On going Emergency Communications exercises monthly" - excellent idea. Volunteers please? I guess the same comment applies to all these ideas. "Volunteers please". It is easy to have good ideas for other people to do; why not follow through on your ideas yourself and - as the Nike slogan says - "Just Do It!" |
