Amateur of the Year Award
Amateur of the Year Award
Sunday, February 07, 2016

This award is bestowed annually to that special club member who has demonstrated excellence above and beyond the call on behalf of the club and amateur radio in general.

A vote is conducted and the results presented at our annual Christmas Luncheon. As well as a hearty cheer and many accolades an obligatory round of applause.

You don't have to actually know the nominee. This is an award for those who come to meetings or give their time at a community event or help out with a special project or in other words participate in the club.

A good place to start is to look over recent newsletters. Many events and those that took part are recorded there. Click here to go to the current archive page.

Another thing to keep in mind is, while its nice to be recognized, perhaps select someone who has not received the award previously. Click here to see the past recipients page.
