Dave, VE3WI Lot of good documentation in that link. I had some USB - CI-V interfaces for the Icom IC-7000 which worked in Windows 7 and early versions of Windows 10 but over time with different updates they quit working. I purchased another version using CH340T chipset vs FTDI and worked for quite a while but last summer I tried it and that one no longer works. There is a lot of interfaces out there but many are just knock offs of FTDI and will not work. So be aware.
